Oral history interview with Surender Singh [sound recording] / interviewed by Howard Fredricks. 1975 Feb. 13.

Singh describes life and social conditions in India under British rule and after independence. He talks of his education in American sponsored mission schools, the partition of India and the formation of the Islamic state of Pakistan, his coming to the United States for graduate studies and his career as a teacher of political science. He comments at length on the political and social conditions prevalent at that time.
